LCD p\u0159edehnaly CRT v\u00a0kvalit\u011b obrazu, pozorovac\u00edm \u00fahlu, men\u0161\u00edch rozm\u011brech a v\u00e1ze a tak\u00e9 nap\u0159\u00edklad ve spot\u0159eb\u011b energie.\tTechnologie LCDLCD jsou postaveny na sendvi\u010dov\u00e9 struktu\u0159e, ve kter\u00e9 jsou navrstveny z\u00e1kladn\u00ed stavebn\u00ed elementy displeje. Mimochodem hustota pixel\u016f ovliv\u0148uje ostrost zobrazen\u00ed. Jednodu\u0161e \u0159e\u010deno \u010d\u00edm v\u00edce pixel\u016f na palec, t\u00edm lep\u0161\u00ed rozli\u0161en\u00ed.\u00a0\tHodnocen\u00ed LCDLCD je displej, kter\u00fd si na\u0161el cestu k\u00a0nespo\u010detn\u00e9mu mno\u017estv\u00ed z\u00e1kazn\u00edk\u016f. Ti na n\u011bj nedaj\u00ed dopustit kv\u016fli n\u011bkolika v\u00fdznamn\u00fdm klad\u016fm:LCDs jsou atraktivn\u00ed pro svou cenovou dostupnost. Jejich v\u00fdroba zat\u00edm vych\u00e1z\u00ed levn\u011bji ne\u017e u konkuren\u010dn\u00edch OLED displej\u016f.LCDs dosahuj\u00ed dostate\u010dn\u00e9ho jasu.Kladn\u011b je hodnocena jejich barevn\u00e1 st\u00e1lost a re\u00e1lnost barev.V\u00fdvoji LCD byly v\u011bnov\u00e1ny des\u00edtky let. P\u0159esto je\u0161t\u011b po\u0159\u00e1d nejsou dota\u017eeny do dokonalosti. Tady jsou n\u011bkter\u00e1 negativa:Z\u00e1pory jsou ovlivn\u011bny pot\u0159ebn\u00fdm podsv\u00edcen\u00edm. Zobrazuje-li LCD \u010dernou, pou\u017eije na jej\u00ed v\u00fdrobu (stejn\u011b jako na vyobrazen\u00ed jak\u00e9koliv jin\u00e9 barvy) podsv\u00edcen\u00ed. T\u00edm dojde k\u00a0tomu, \u017ee \u010dern\u00e1 je sp\u00ed\u0161e \u0161ed\u00e1.Vlivem podsv\u00edcen\u00ed a nedokonal\u00e9 \u010dern\u00e9 maj\u00ed LCDs ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed kontrast.
